Hey pyro fam! 🎇 If you're shopping for 500g cakes this season, you’ve probably noticed they come in all sorts of shot counts. Here’s the quick breakdown so you pick the right one for your show:

**More shots = Longer duration, but lighter on power**
When a 500g cake has 100+ shots, that total powder weight gets split into tons of smaller tubes. You get a beautiful, extended show that lasts way longer — perfect for filling the sky with nonstop action. But each individual shot is smaller, so they don’t always shoot as high or hit with massive booms.

**Fewer shots = Bigger, higher, louder booms**
Cakes with fewer shots (like 9–36 shots) put more powder into each tube. That means each firework shoots **higher**, breaks **bigger**, and delivers those deep, ground-shaking booms that make everyone go “WHOA!” The trade-off? The whole cake burns faster.

So if you want a long, flowing display → go high shot count.
