Wow! Tyson Gentry’s book, Once a Buckeye, is an incredible read!
Several years ago, our son came home from school telling us all about Tyson Gentry, who played football for The Ohio State University. He had been deeply moved by Tyson’s journey after learning about it from his 7th-grade English teacher, Tyson’s dad, Mr. Gentry.
Our family has also had the privilege of meeting Tyson and his family. Their strength, courage, and perseverance are truly remarkable, and his book certainly reflects that.
As I read Once a Buckeye, I felt as though I was walking right alongside Tyson through his journey. His story is incredibly powerful, honest, and inspiring. It truly is one of the best books I have ever read.
I’ve included a photo of our families together several years ago, a special memory that makes this book and Tyson’s journey even more meaningful to us.
