🍂 The POP! Shop Mental Magic Challenge: Guess the Card! 🍂
We want to try out a new, fun way to entertain and challenge you all. Give some Mental Magic a try? Now have some mercy as this our first time making sure the clues are good and we give you all a reasonable challenge. So to kick things off, here are your story, visual, and straight-up clues:
"I was out raking leaves today as it's the season for that. Trying to take my mind off the exertion while removing the mess from my yard and shuffling it all into a massive, random pile of leaves, I distracted myself by thinking of MTG cards. My neighbor, a fellow MTG enjoyer, was walking his dog, saw the yard waste bag, and stopped to chat. After our howdies, I challenged him to guess the MTG card I was thinking of. He rapid-fired three guesses at me. He didn't quite cinch it, but his guesses mapped perfectly onto this Mental Magic grid. Can you solve what he couldn't?"
How to read the clues:
Colors Matched: Shows exactly how many colors his guess shares with the secret card. (Hint: cross-reference the three guesses to isolate the exact color).
Mana Value & First Printing Year: The arrows tell you if the target cost or release year needs to be higher or lower.
Card Type: The red X means the secret card is not that type.
