‼️SEEKING DONATIONS‼️
NWYRA is proud to award thousands of dollars in educational funding in honor of Jake Thompson each year to support our graduating seniors by sending them off to college with a scholarship. In 2025 we awarded a combined total of $7500 to three graduating seniors.
Our sole fundraiser for our scholarship fund is the live auction we conduct at our annual awards banquet each fall. We aim to have 6-8 items (or bundles) to auction off in hopes of generating $7,000 or more, so we can continue helping our graduating seniors as they pursue their education & start their careers.
We are seeking donations of items or experiences that can be auctioned off at our auction on November 14, 2026. We try to bundle items that coordinate well, such as a cooler with camp chairs & a BBQ, etc. The event usually has an attendance of around 550-650 people, including our rodeo contestants & their families, along with stock contractors & many of our sponsors.
If you would like to donate something, or know of someone who would please email [email protected]
