Hey there! 👋
I’m Jessica and I am the curator, founder, quality control inspector, packaging specialist, one woman team & all around insane person running this show! (Seriously, I get in trouble with HR all the time 😂) I believe that we are overdue for some introductions.
I have had a love for reading ever since I picked up the very first Nancy Drew book as a child. (Fun fact: I now get to be the cool aunt and have passed those very same books onto my nieces 🥰) Books have since become a form of entertainment and escape for me that I enjoy sharing with others.
Over the years I’ve had the urge to start my own business but between the fear, self doubt and being about as indecisive as a squirrel crossing the road it hadn’t happened. Last year with the recommendation of the absolute best local coffee shop owners (Shoutout to Chelsea & Brian at Eyelight) I applied for the RISE program through CCCC and to my surprise got accepted, attending those classes really lit a 🔥 in me and here we are.
After some switching gears, trial and error, and a whole lot of coffee Novel Beginnings was born! From the start my goal has been to not only offer books but an experience *insert Blind Date with a Book here* and I am so proud of this little baby business of mine.
I’m so excited to have you all as my book besties on this journey and hope you will stick around for all the craziness I’m already scheming! (Hint: I’m thinking a super awesome giveaway could possibly be coming in the not so distant future 🙌🏼)
