Proud moment for a new NCO!

Honoring two warriors, remembering their legacy. Stories worth sharing, lives worth honoring.

I had the privilege to serve with these two warriors. One with tons of experience in the aircraft and the ways of the military and the other a young up and comer who was eager to learn and take and run with what the opportunities the Army gave him. Chief Pratt was laid to rest in Arlington so if you ever go there stop by and pay your respects if you can. 12th CAB had some really great leadership to lead the whole team through this time. RIP to both of you and keep looking over and protecting the ones you love.

A few years ago a post came up on my FB. It was to announce the passing of a fellow warrior and friend. I knew this NCO as a private, I was one of his Drill Sergeants. I knew PVT Hagen as a practical jokester with w s! eating grin. We had some corrective training that was for sure. Then I had the privilege to serve with him in Germany. The guy loved his job, would help anybody out and kept the same grin. If you are fighting an invisible war reach out to someone. Anyone!!!! You can even reach out to me, because we are all we got. Mental Health is real, struggle is real, and the pressure is real, but you don't have to go at it alone. RIP brother...
