When creativity feels out of reach, I’ve learned not to force it.

Instead, I return to the things that inspire me: nature, good friends, meaningful lyrics, unexpected places, and probably more plants than I need.

And when all else fails, a crisp McDonald’s Coke and a home improvement binge usually help.

So far, it’s a system that’s working.

The number one question I get asked is:
“Where do you get all these oysters?”

The answer is… honestly everywhere.

Friends save them for me, local restaurants let me collect them, I find them while exploring the beach, and yes… I absolutely notice oyster shells sitting in seafood restaurant landscaping.

At this point I’m constantly thinking about oysters and have somehow managed to train all my friends to do the same 😂
