Coaches: five things your room needs before day one.

Mat tape - If the edges are curling or you can see the seam, retape before day one, not after somebody rolls an ankle in week two.
Mat disinfectant - The jug isn't the plan. Somebody has to be wiping the mat down, and everybody has to know who that person is.
Tape remover - Old tape leaves a glue film your mat cleaner won't touch. You can't disinfect through it, and new tape won't stick to it.
A certified scale - If it hasn't been checked this season, assume it's wrong. And get a case for it.
Headgear - Count what's actually usable, not what's in the bin, then order. Everybody waits until November, and by then most are out of stock.

Justice Gutierrez has been wrestling since she was four years old.

Two-time Fargo national champion. Three-time Colorado state champion. Multiple-time All-American at World Team Trials. Ranked fourth in the country at 100 pounds last season.

In April she pinned a U17 World bronze medalist to win the USA Wrestling Girls National High School Showcase at 100 pounds.

She's a senior at Pomona and a member of the USA National Team.

Introducing Haakon Peterson — the newest athlete on the Suplay Roster.
Haakon just finished one of the most dominant careers in Wisconsin wrestling history: 173–0 at Dodgeville High School, a four-time WIAA state champion across four different weight classes, and only the 4th wrestler in state history to go undefeated all four years. He didn't surrender a single takedown in his entire high school career.
On top of that: 6x All-American, 4x Fargo national champion, and a Pan-Am gold medalist. This fall he heads to the University of Michigan as a Big Ten podium threat.

Introducing Angelica "Cookie" Serratos — the newest athlete on the Suplay Roster.
Cookie grew up in the wrestling room before she ever stepped on the mat — both her parents are college All-Americans, and she tagged along to every practice and tournament her dad coached. Now she's a CIF California State Champion, a Nike/Flo All-American, and ranked 8th in the country.

Introducing Brooklyn Cooley — the newest athlete on the Suplay Roster.
Brooklyn started wrestling to keep up with her two older brothers (5 and 8 years older). She still hasn't beaten them — but she's an AAU State Champion, a District Champion, and a Fargo Qualifier at just 14 years old.
In her words: "Nobody is going to win a match for me." That's exactly the kind of athlete we want representing Suplay and Morgan Headgear.
