When yall crappie fish do yall find that suspended crappie in open water or ones hugging to the trees bite better? Personally I think they hit harder in the open!

This guy looked like a crappie hanging close to a tree, but the moment he attacked that G-Daddy Baits jig, you could tell on livescope and on the pole it was something else! How many catfish have yall caught while fishing for crappie!
