Hello and Happy Wednesday, everyone!
We hope everyone had a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend. It has been a tough and confusing time for all of us over the past few months, but now that businesses are safely re-opening and restrictions are beginning to be lifted, we at La Tienda of Eldorado can start getting back to what we do best: putting community first! We have already begun slowly and safely re-opening some of our "essential" businesses such as the hardware store, and we expect to have all businesses in the complex re-opened (with limited occupancy and hours) this Monday, June 1st! We are also implementing new guidelines and a new workout-slot booking system for the Fitness Studio. If you are a member, please check out the website www.eldoradofitnessstudio.com for these guidelines, and also PLEASE download the Zen Planner app and make a profile on our business page. In order to adhere to social distancing and cleaning guidelines, we are only going to allow fitness studio patrons in BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! The Zen Planner app makes it very easy to book slots on your phone, so we are GREATLY encouraging all members to do so.
We also want to proudly announce that we have opened a Dry Goods store in the complex across from the hardware store. In these times of uncertainty and crucial products becoming unavailable, we want to make sure our community is well taken care of. So we have stocked the new store with hand sanitizer, KN95 disposable protective masks, mason jars, and an assortment of non-perishable foods! We even have the products in our dry goods store streamlined at utopiasantafe.com, so you can call or go online to place your order for curbside pick-up!
Something we cannot stress enough here at La Tienda is the importance we put on community. And we believe that "community" stretches from our immediate neighbors, family and colleagues, all the way across our beautiful state of New Mexico and beyond! As I'm sure many of you are aware, the Navajo nation in the Northwest quadrant of the state was hit especially hard by this pandemic. Even in the current uncertain times, there is one thing we are always certain of: when our community needs help, we will be there. So in that spirit, to date we have donated over 60,000 pairs of gloves, 4,000 masks, 2,300 gallons of disinfectant, and raised over $18,000 in relief efforts to the New Mexico Navajo nation. Furthermore, we will be donating a percentage of all future business profits to local relief charities!
As excited as we are to re-open and see all our wonderful patrons faces again, we still want everyone to make safety and health their #1 priority. Keep practicing social distancing, we encourage everyone to wear masks in public as well as in our complex, and stay at home/contact your doctor if you feel sick.
