Welcome to Temple Beth El, a Reform Jewish congregation serving the central coast from Santa Maria since 1969. We worship on Shabbat using the traditional prayers of our Jewish heritage in the comfortable environment of our synagogue's sanctuary. Services begin at 7:30 p.m. every Friday. Our services are led by a permanent part-time rabbi, Rabbi Dov Gottesfeld, and qualified lay leaders. We welcom

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday at Temple Beth El's Independence Weekend BBQ!!

On Sunday, July 5th, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm, join us at Temple Beth El (1501 E. Alvin Ave, in Santa Maria) for an afternoon carnival packed with family fun, including exciting games, professional face painting, and a live performance by the incredible bluegrass band, "Something Bluegrass." Admission is $18 for adults and $8 for children.

TBE will be cooking Kosher hot dogs and veggie burgers with all the trimmings. To help round out our festive feast, we kindly ask our member families to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share. Invite your friends and neighbors!
