Our team can keep your Sprinter van's diesel heater (such as a Webasto, Eberspächer, or Chinese diesel heater) running safely and prevents carbon buildup or ignition failures. We service diesel heaters installed by our team or others.

We will inspect the combustion air intake and exhaust pipes for dust, mud, spiderwebs, or kinks. Make sure the exhaust tip faces downward and away from the van.
We will listen to the Fuel Pump. Check for a steady, rhythmic clicking sound from the fuel metering pump during startup.

Annual & Pre-Winter Service (Every 12 Months)

• Inspect Fuel Filters & Lines: Check fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or loose clamps, and replace the inline fuel filter annually.
• Clean or Replace the Glow Plug/Pin: Remove and inspect the glow plug and its mesh screen for heavy carbon or soot. Clean it or replace the glow plug screen every 1 to 2 years.
• Clean the Combustion Chamber: If you notice heavy smoke or startup failure, disassemble the burner tube and combustion chamber to scrape and wire-brush away hardened carbon.
• Replace Gaskets: Always install a new gasket and O-ring kit whenever you split or open the combustion chamber to prevent exhaust fumes from leaking into the van cabin.
• Check Electrical Connections: Inspect all power wires, fuses, and ground points for corrosion or looseness, and verify that your van's house battery voltage stays stable above 10.5V during startup.
