The devil is in the details When we install phono cartridges here at Lavish we often find that the tonearm leads are not tight. This can be a source of noise and signal loss at a critical connection point. It’s a fiddly nuisance to correct and there is always the risk of damaging the connectors, but we do it anyway because it is the right thing to do. At Lavish, we know that the high road doesn’t have the same market appeal as false claims and hype but we stay true to the integrity built over the decades and our customers are the beneficiaries.

Choose the right parts for the right job. Streaming, home cinema, vinyl playback, they are all the same. Attention to detail and understanding the many whys first is fundamental. That makes Lavish unique. Our marketing partners use generic stock photos to add to our feed because that is what they know. That’s ok. Back in the showroom after a month away I wanted to share a little magic from my brief visit to the FYNE AUDIO factory in Glasgow. Listening to the F1.12S there was a perfect reminder of why sticking to core elements is essential to musical connection which "feels" correct and intimate. Fyne's Dr. Mills has spent decades refining this driver technology and the F1.12S simply defies adequate description. Uncanny coherence and immediacy are only the beginning. On the trip I sat about 10 feet from the orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, and also had prime seats at the Noel Coward theater in London which were a great reality check for the credibility I work so hard to achieve. 50 plus years of doing this and I'm always learning so I can share you.
