Let’s take the time to pray for this young man’s family… Nothing but pray… No speculations … Nolan’s Mama and Daddy just need prayers from us right now… The Law will hopefully get the answers they need.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Here is what we know and what remains unknown after the first 12 hours of the investigation into Nolan Wells’ death.

Known:
📌 Wells went to Horn Island on a boat with friends.
📌 Wells was last seen at 3p.m. on July 4 on the west tip of Horn Island.
📌 Wells’ mother made the initial phone call to law enforcement near midnight on July 4.
📌 Wells was found in the water near the northwestern tip of Horn Island on July 6 around 8:45 am.
📌Family confirmed on social media of his passing.
📌Autopsy is scheduled for July 7.

Unknown:
❓Who was last seen with Wells?
❓How did Wells end up in the water?
❓Why did Wells not come back with his friends he went with?
❓Why did no one from the island call to report Wells missing?

Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter says investigators are interviewing multiple people and following lots of leads.

The investigation is still ongoing.
