We’ve gotten a lot of emails and phone calls, and I realized I never posted this on Facebook: We won’t be set up at the Saranac Lake Farmers' Markets this summer.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but as some of you know, I started a nonprofit last year, and I’m not able to prep for the market each week the way I used to.

That said, we have no plans to close the online store! You can always order there or stop by our farmstand, Griffin's Roadside in Saranac, NY. We don’t keep a huge inventory of soap in the stand, so if you’re planning to come by and want to swap out empty refill bottles, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll make sure we have what you need.

Tomorrow (10/12) is our last day at the Saranac Lake Farmers' Markets for the 2024 season. Come early as we tend to sell out of a few things early. But as always, products are available online for shipping.

Morning Folks!

We won't be at the Saranac Farmers' Markets today as Matthew will be set up at the Town of Saranac Bicentennial Field Day to introduce the community to his nonprofit, Northern Adirondack Pet Fund Inc.

If you're in the area, he'll be able to answer questions about the organization, and he'll have baked goods available for a donation!

SARANAC | Thanks to animal lover Matthew Griffin, the Northern Adirondack Pet Fund (NAPF) has officially gotten off the ground, and low-income area pet owners will now have a resource to turn to when costly veterinarian bills arise.

We're truly amazed and thankful for the generosity of our community! With the help of our customers and generous visitors at the Saranac Lake Farmers' Markets, we raised $186 for Northern Adirondack Pet Fund, Inc. This money will help to build their fund to subsidize veterinary care for low-income families in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties. Thank you, Everyone!

This Saturday (Aug 10th), at the Saranac Lake Farmers' Markets, we'll be donating 10% of our sales to support Northern Adirondack Pet Fund, Inc., whose mission "is to subsidize nonemergency, palliative, and end-of-life pet care for low-income families" in Clinton, Essex, & Franklin Counties.

Andrew and I (Matthew), your neighborhood "soap guys" have taken the first steps to start a nonprofit charity organization that's dedicated to helping low-income families in Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties of New York afford veterinary care for their beloved pets.

And we need your help raising money to move forward. Our nonprofit, Northern Adirondack Pet Fund, Inc., is officially registered with NYS, but we have a big hurdle to climb to register for 501(c)(3) status with the Federal government, purchase start up materials, and build our pet fund.
