Mediterranean Revival is a signature architectural style, famously pioneered by visionary architect, Addison Mizner in the 1920s in Palm Beach, Florida, which is defined by red tile roofs, textured stucco walls, arched openings, and lush courtyard gardens.

Moving away from more modern looks, we're seeing a design shift and a resurgence of this style in architecture and interiors. Each week, designers are coming into our showroom requesting painted tiles that captures the spirit of 1920's Palm Beach.

🔸 If your countertop has bold, dramatic veining, select a simple, low-contrast backsplash so the two don't compete.
🔸 If your countertops are a solid, neutral color, you can use the backsplash to introduce rich textures, colors, or unique shapes.

Match the Undertones

🔸 Ensure the tile's undertones match your existing space.
🔸 Warm-toned counters (like beige or creamy granites) pair beautifully with ivory, sand, or brass accents, while cool-toned surfaces (like blue-veined marbles or white quartz) look best with crisp whites or soft grays.
