I’m making dragons for the fall season and I just wanted to give you an update. I’ve been crocheting for over ten years, I designed this dragon pattern, and even now I still make mistakes. This dragon is two stitches short for the row I am on. Do you think I will rip it apart? I could. Should I give up? Absolutely not.

What I will do, is improvise and just add two stitches to this row. Depending on the shape you want, you can spread out the extra stitches but I’m going to stick them in the tail. Crochet can be forgiving and it’s supposed to be fun. Don’t think too hard about making it “perfect”. Your creations are art. No one will know which of my dragons have the added stitches, and at the end of the day you made something with your own hands. That in itself should make you proud.

A little change of plans. Little Loop is back at the Farmers' Market at Lakewood Ranch today from 9am-2pm. While my mom is up at the Lake County Fair from 1pm-10pm.

As I’m getting signs ready for this weekend at the Lake County Fair, I keep looking over our updated Looplings for a Cause tracker and feeling so incredibly grateful.

Since starting Looplings for a Cause, together we’ve raised over $1,100 for amazing organizations making a real difference.

I’m honestly blown away by what this little mission has grown into. Every quarter, when I make these donations, I’m reminded that Looplings are about so much more than crochet kits. They’re about creativity, compassion, and coming together to support causes that matter.
