Jula Bear Crochet

Jula Bear Crochet CLOSED, will not respond to interest comments. After recuperation, in march of 2020 I sold my first amigurumi creation. Sadly this puts a halt to my creativity.

My story:
After cyberknife radiation (brain tumor) In late 2018 I picked up a crochet hook for the first time, slowly learning the basics of crochet. Since, I've fulfilled many requests and find joy in what I am doing. April 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Please note: Most of my amigurumi dolls and animals are made with high quality safety eyes. Their manufacture suggests no child under

3 should be left alone while playing with these toys. I've never had anyone have an issue with them being pulled out. I snap and glue them in. If you prefer, I can crochet eyes upon request.

I made this for a dear friends granddaughter. Our boys grew up together on the football field and basketball court. Later, our younger kids may not have grown up in sports together like the boys but, still held the kindness we’ve always had for each other’s families. It was a joy to make this for a beautiful addition to such a loving family! 

Note: I tried her face 3 times and each time I was not happy with the expression.

After years of hopping from Dr to Dr , 28Chemos, 30radiations, several medications, surgeries and so much more, I’ve regained movement and strength to crochet again.
