Another new arrival in 5-gallon containers is beautiful Lychee. HakHip, which has little to no seed. Lychee trees can take a light freeze, just not the two-day weird freeze. Blessings Kathy

I am going to call this Christman in August. Why? When you see the new plants that came in today, you will want to shop for your gifts now. Birthday could work also.
In 3-gallon containers: Haas Avocado, Tamarind eat fresh- quite acidic) or make into a relish, Miracle Fruit that changes your taste to sweet. Eat a Key Lime and it will be sweet, or a cup of black coffee will be sweet for two hours, so be careful what you eat. One customer forgot and ate the fruit, then went on to eat corned beef and cabbage in a five-gallon sapodilla Gigantea. We also have the yellow strawberry tree, native Blueberry very sweet, Black Sapote, and Jakfruit and Achachairu only one in a 7-gallonThe flesh of achachairú is white, juicy, and sweet with a subtle sourness that gives it a refreshing, sherbet-like quality, making it both sweet and tangy at the same time Its acidity is more citrus-like than that of purple mangosteen, providing a bright, zesty note that balances the sweetness. This is a short version of our organically grown

We have Pony Tail Palms that we will be lowering the price in half. the ponytail plant has a bare, bulbous stem with a tuft of long, narrow leaves at the top that spill over like a ponytail. Its sleek bulb-like trunk and lush, long curly leaves make it visually stunning, and the fact that a ponytail palm is forgiving and easy in its care makes this an ideal houseplant for many people. Warner added one at the corner of house and what a statement it makes. As you drive into the nursery as you go around the bend on the right you will see how beautiful it looks Blessings Kathy

'Old Blush' has semi-double lilac-pink flowers in loose clusters. They flush darker pink in the sun and are followed by large orange hips. The bush is full and upright in habit, growing slowly to over 5 feet, with neat, healthy foliage. The perfume is soft, fruity, and pleasant. Whether used in a hedge (which can be spectacular), as a specimen, or in a border, 'Old Blush' should be treated simply as a flowering shrub and not fussed over. Roses are also butterfly attractors. Too many were made and we need to make room for other Old Garden Roses. They will be reduced to half price.

I have three Cassia Fistula Charlie cut out of the ground and sitting in some water. They are free to a customer with any purchase. They are about 4 to 5 ft tall and need to be planted in a pot to root out and then planted, or staked and put in the ground with extra watering for about a month. Butterfly larval food for sulphur butterflies. Blessings Kathy

Being there is so much misinformation about citrus, I felt this to be important,
You may see the top of a fruit missing some rind- not much; you may think the fruit is diseased. What this is: birds pecking off some of the rind, which is what they like, not the fruit, which is still edible for you to enjoy. Also, a reminder not to prune your citrus till winter, as the leaf miner is awake and waiting for you to make a move so she can make her way through the leaf and make it curl. If you turn over the leaf, you will see the path she made.

Today, my son Brad found out he has
spondylodiscitis. You all know him if you came here when he was dressed in an ape outfit, or should I say Bigfoot. He loves Halloween and put on a free admission in Arcadia to keep the kids in a safe spot instead of wandering the streets. Well, Brad needs your help now, so I am setting up a GoFundMe for Brad and his wife, Karen. When Brad goes to walk, his legs do not move, and he falls over. Now we just found out that this rare disease, which you can not get, can travel anywhere around his whole body. His wife is disabled and just fell today, and we hope she was not hurt, as it may take a day to know for sure. Busy between the raindrops putting away our new arrival trees. In 5-gallon containers, we now have Pakistan Mulberry, Harvey Lemon the pure lemon, Variegated Pink Lemon, and Meiwa Kumquat.
In the 7-gallon containers, we now have Tropic Beauty Peach and Pickering, the true dwarf mango; later tomorrow, we will have 7-gallon Ice Cream Mangoes. Blessings Kathy
