A Pawn Shop in Sarasota is actively seeking for a new member of our team.
This role will give you the opportunity to interact with our customers on a daily basis, enjoying the give
and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry,
electronics, musical instruments, and more. We can train you on every facet of the operation. You just
need the energy and desire to learn. As a Sales & Lending Team Member, it will be your responsibility to
provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that clearly sets our company above the
competition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with leadership to coordinate daily, weekly activities
Assist in implementing objectives regarding sales and lending activities
Approve every loan (through the direction of Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager), discount, and
sale.
Work closely with the team to control damage and prevents losses to company and customer assets
Maintain exceptional customer service through 100% application of company programs
Implement and support daily/weekly/monthly store performance goals set for the store.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly performance goals as it relates to retail sales, layaway programs,
and loan growth as well as company audits regarding shrinkage and corporate standards.
Available to work Mon-Sun 9 am-8 pm.
Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of PawnBroker experience (management/supervisory experience preferred).
Proof of valid driver's license and liability insurance.
Stable Work History
Able to Work a Flexible Schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays
Bilingual a Plus.
Knowledge of retail, finance, pawn, or business operations a plus.
Able to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Must have a passion for customer service.
Must pass Criminal Background check and Drug Test screening.
Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
