Very interesting! Where have you seen the SE Blueberry Bee?
The southeastern blueberry bee is this week’s featured pollinator! This solitary bee was originally thought to exclusively pollinate blueberry flowers, but is now known to have a much broader diet. Despite its common name, it is not limited to just the Southeast.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census on August 21-22! Prepare yourself by reading more on the census website https://gsepc.org/.
