Good Morning Sarasota County. We are receiving initial reports from our 'first-in' emergency crews of downed power lines and trees in roadways. We know some of the bridges in the county are not passible. We urge residents and business owners to stay off the roads and give our emergency and utility crews time to work. The storm may have passed but it is still dangerous to be traveling this morning.

Our prayers go out to our all of our neighbors, friends and all of Florida. We hope everyone is safe and experienced minimal damage.
We will post once power is restored and we are back up and running. No damage to Butter thankfully.
