🚚✨ Sarasota food truck friends + food lovers — there’s a new app in town and it’s making everything easier.
It’s called FoodTrukt, and it’s designed to connect local food trucks with the people who actually want to find them in real time.
From the food truck side, I’ve personally found it super user-friendly:
• I can post my schedule quickly without designing graphics for hours
• Drop my exact location in seconds
• Upload my menu so customers can browse before they arrive
• Go “live” when I’m set up and ready to serve
From the customer side, it’s even better:
• See food trucks near you within a radius
• Tap into live locations and get straight to Google Maps navigation
• Check hours + menus before you even leave your house
• Favorite your go-to trucks (👀 The Vintage Ice Shop!) and get notified when they go live nearby
So if you’re out and about and suddenly craving something sweet — you might get a ping that we’re just a few miles away. Turn around, grab a shaved ice, and keep your day rolling 🍧
I really love the idea of Sarasota food trucks coming together on one platform so customers aren’t guessing where we are and we’re not spending half our day trying to get found.
