🎉 Friday Finished Objects! 🎉

Nothing makes us smile quite like seeing a beautiful project come off the needles, and this week we’re celebrating Dianne’s gorgeous new sweater!

Dianne recently finished the ever-popular Ranunculus by Midori Hirose, knit in the stunning color Lotus using Miss Babs Billow. The soft, airy fabric and delicate details make this sweater a true wardrobe favorite, and Dianne’s version turned out absolutely beautiful.

From the first stitch to the final bind-off, every finished object tells a story of creativity, patience, and a little bit of yarn magic. We love seeing our customers bring their projects to life, and Dianne’s Ranunculus is a perfect example of why this pattern continues to capture the hearts of knitters everywhere.

🧶✨ WIP Wednesday! ✨🧶

Some projects are just too good to make only once… and sometimes even twice isn’t enough!

Our lovely Yarnista Peg is currently working on her third Slublime Tee by Laura Dobratz, and we can certainly see why this pattern keeps finding its way back onto her needles. This time she’s using Slubby Slub in the delightfully named colorway “Cheaper Than Therapy”—and honestly, we couldn’t agree more! 💕🧶

There’s something special about finding that perfect combination of pattern and yarn that makes you want to cast on again and again. The effortless style of the Slublime Tee paired with the beautiful texture and color of Slubby Slub is a match made in knitting heaven.

We can’t wait to watch this project grow and see the finished tee come to life. Stop by the shop and share what you’re working on—we love seeing all the creativity happening around our table!

🧶☀️ What a wonderful National Knit in Public Day! ☀️🧶

Yesterday, a group of us gathered at Big Top Brewing Company to celebrate National Knit in Public Day, and what a fantastic afternoon it was!

There was plenty of knitting, crocheting, laughter, great conversation, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and most importantly—wonderful company. We spent the afternoon doing what we love most: sharing our craft, inspiring one another, and building friendships one stitch at a time.

One of the best things about fiber arts is the community it creates. Whether you’ve been knitting for decades or just picked up your first pair of needles, there is always a seat at the table and a friend waiting to meet you. Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that yarn brings people together in the most meaningful ways.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and sharing our passion for all things yarn in the heart of our Sarasota community.

🎉 Friday Finished Object Alert! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Adriana and her absolutely adorable finished project — the Naomi Bow by Maria Verden!🎀✨

Adriana knit this charming accessory using Emma’s Yarn Hella Hank in the playful colorway Barbie Girl, paired with a perfectly coordinating strand of Emma’s Marvelous Mohair that she discovered in her stash. Talk about a match made in knitting heaven! 💖

The combination created a beautiful fabric with just the right amount of softness, fluff, and sparkle, making this bow both elegant and fun. We love seeing how a special skein (or two!) can transform into something so delightful.

✨ WIP Wednesday! ✨

This week’s Work in Progress is bringing all the color and all the joy! 🌈🧶

On the needles is Bright Axis by Tellybean Knits, a stunning sweater that pairs a classic navy body with a vibrant striped yoke that truly steals the show. The rich navy is being knit in Emma’s Beautifully Basic in the color Navy Blazer, while the eye-catching rainbow stripes are created with a gorgeous cake of Must Stash Yarn.

We absolutely love how the colors unfold stripe by stripe, creating a unique yoke that’s as fun to knit as it is to wear. The deep navy body provides the perfect backdrop, allowing those cheerful stripes to shine front and center.

Projects like this are a wonderful reminder that sometimes all it takes is a little pop of color to make a sweater something truly special. 💙🌈
