People often ask how Chow Bella got its name, so it’s probably time we shared the story!

Bella was my beagle and the inspiration behind our original logo. When it came time to name the business, I loved the Italian phrase “Ciao, bella,” meaning “Hello, beautiful.”

Then there was “chow”—because dogs and food naturally go together.

Put it all together, and Chow Bella was born! ❤️

Now Bella has been reimagined as our new mascot—and tomorrow she begins her new job as Chow Bella’s Chief Exploration Officer!

Keep an eye out for her in our posts. She may be hiding, pointing the way or popping up where you least expect her as she helps Saratoga discover everything waiting upstairs. 👀🐾

🐾 BELLA DISCOVERED THE COLLECTIVE! 🛍️

Bella made it upstairs—and discovered that there’s much more inside Chow Bella than dogs!

The Collective is home to locally owned shops and small businesses offering unique gifts, handmade goods, Saratoga-inspired finds, accessories, pet products, permanent jewelry and plenty of unexpected treasures.

And here’s something many people don’t realize: You don’t need to have a dog to visit! Come upstairs, browse the shops and see what you discover.

We’re open today from 12–5 PM, right on Broadway above Death Wish Coffee’s corporate headquarters.

Bella also heard a rumor that there’s an entire thrift store hiding inside…but she’ll have to investigate that next. 👀🐾
