Today I am remembering all the snowy days at the bead store over the 18 years in business.. Those were quiet days..just me, sue and dell..I loved those days, when we could do some fun bead projects, just the two of us at the bead table!! And we were sometimes joined by the hardy beader..out in the snow for some fun!!! I do miss those days!!

We just took a long walk in the windy cold out on seapoint beach in kittery point maine...we live in Eliot maine, now...Got new license plates yesterday....now unpacking the thousand boxes..can't wait to get my hands on the beads!!!! more posts coming soon...

today i took a drive up into the adirondacks for an appt...had Claire Lynch's new CD called Dear Sister in the CD player and just gazes at all the trees and the Hudson river and the people fishing and just enjoyed this beautiful day..THAT is what i am doing since closing the bead store...that AND sorting and packing up the house as we are moving to Eliot Maine!! AND i'm taking the beads with me...stay tuned!! love to you all...

and NOW i have an entire bead store in a storage unit!! waiting....waiting...waiting...till I get a studio on the seacoast!!! i will let you know when I get settled and i'd LOVE visitors!! stay tuned to our next adventure!! thanks to every one of you!!!!

WOW!!!!!! to bed last night at 11pm and up this morning at 6:15am...The store is empty and the sign is down..So happy to have a fresh start and amazed how long Sue and I tweaked everything to look just right and how quickly it all came down!! one week is what it took! Many, many thanks to David, Sue, my mom Alice, Christine, Connie, Lars, Betsy and Ed..you all arrived at just the right time with fresh energy!!!!!! I love you all!!!!!!

hi everyone!!! so tired after a full day of packing and cleaning!! i have some things for sale...a few pegboards..plenty of hooks for the pegboards...some of the boxes that Greg Clarke made for me...he is an amazing man (used to be a craftsman/artist at the NYS museum) and he made all the wonderful bead boxes for me.....i also have a bunch of rolling bins with drawers and a really nice 4 door file cabinet ( brand is Hon)....i will be at the store tomorrow, thursday from 9-6pm and friday from 10-6pm...bring cash..thanks again...call the store for prices..584-7733

Hi everyone!!! Packing up is going very well...All of you that may want to buy a box or some other fixture can come on wednesday or thursday after 12 noon...some things are already spoken for, but there are some things still up for grabs....pegboards...a table or two...bead boxes...bring cash only!!!!! no credit cards, no checks ( unless I know you!) see you the next few days!! all beads are packed up and we are no longer accepting gift certificates, so please don't ask to be the exception!!! Thanks so much!!!!

well...the last day has come and gone..what a great day it was!!! Cookies..flowers...beads...hugs..a few tears.. and alot of happy beaders..thank you, thank you, thank you for everyone who supported me over the years...we will be packing up this week and selling tables and fixtures..if you want some strands, a bead table ( with alot of great Karma)..a pegboard, you can call the shop and see when we will be there......bring cash only as my register and credit card machine have been sold..

tomorrow is the last day...after 18 years and so, so many wonderful memories, it's hard to say goodbye to my sweet store!! But i've baked another batch of cookies..That should sooth the feelings of the day..and fill my customers and friends with sweetness!!
