A little late posting, but last Saturday the skies had other plans for Moon & Raven. 🌧️🌙

Just as the storm rolled in, my brother and his family stopped by to say hello—and ended up helping me pack up a little early. Their timing couldn’t have been more perfect! 🖤

Everything is dry, restocked, and ready for this Saturday. Moon & Raven will rise again… hopefully beneath calmer skies. 🐦‍⬛✨

Watching it rise over the mountains was absolutely beautiful. I took way too many pictures—but can you blame me? 😂🖤

🌕 Tonight’s Full Sturgeon Moon 🌕

August’s full moon is traditionally known as the Sturgeon Moon, named for the time of year when sturgeon were once especially abundant in the Great Lakes.

Tonight’s moon is even more special—it arrives with a deep partial lunar eclipse. Here in Utah, the partial eclipse begins around 8:33 p.m. and reaches its maximum near 10:12 p.m. Look toward the southeast and you may see the moon take on a dark, coppery glow as it passes through Earth’s shadow. 🌑✨

The full moon is a beautiful time to pause, release what feels heavy, and make room for fresh energy. It’s also one of the simplest and gentlest ways to cleanse your crystals:

✨ Place your crystals outside or on a windowsill where they can receive the moonlight.
✨ Leave them overnight and collect them in the morning.
✨ As you set them out, hold a simple intention: “Release what no longer serves me and restore this crystal’s natural energy.”

Your crystals don’t need a perfectly clear sky or direct moonlight—your intention is what makes the ritual meaningful.

A little reminder: keep moisture-sensitive stones like selenite safely indoors on a windowsill, away from rain and morning dew.
