Meet one of our Spring 2026 student workers Peter Landis '28 👋📸

Peter is an Anthropology major with a minor in German who was drawn to Skidmore’s friendly, outdoorsy community and the freedom to explore his interests across disciplines.

After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in archaeology, whether through academic research or Cultural Resource Management.

For Peter, Creative Thought Matters means constantly trying new things, pushing your intellectual limits, and reflecting on what those experiences teach you about yourself and the world around you.

When he’s not in class, you can find him on the field with Skidmore’s Ultimate Frisbee team 🥏

Meet Ellie O’Connor '28📸✨

An English major with a minor in Media & Film Studies, Ellie chose Skidmore for its close-knit community and the perfect balance of downtown Saratoga Springs + outdoor adventure. From farmers markets to Adirondack hikes, she’s made the most of it all.

Her favorite part? The people. “I’ve made some of my best friends here, and my professors have made my classes really worthwhile.”

When she’s not modeling our latest merch, you might catch Ellie hosting her campus radio show 🎙️

For Ellie, Creative Thought Matters means thinking critically, staying curious, and embracing different perspectives—values she carries both in and out of the classroom.
