We wrapped up our first week of Summer Camp, and what a fantastic week it was! Our campers created some really cool banks, had a blast on the pottery wheels, experimented with mocha diffusion, and made some incredibly creative spatial portraits.

I’m so proud of everything they accomplished and can’t wait to see what the next three weeks of camp have in store. More clay, more creativity, and more fun ahead!

Spring Break is always BUSY — we get it! ☀️🌊 Between beach days, family time, and all the fun plans, a full camp can feel like a lot.

So this year at House of Clay, we’re doing something a little different! Instead of a full camp, we’re breaking it up into one-day clay camps so your kiddos can enjoy a full morning of messy, creative fun 🎨👐 — and still have plenty of time for the beach and everything else Spring Break has to offer.

Each morning is packed with wheel time and a special handmade project they’ll be so proud of!

Collaborating with members of our community to bring a vision to life has always been something I’ve deeply wanted to do. While I wasn’t actively seeking new opportunities in the midst of a very full season of life, I received a call that invited me to stretch myself in a way I hadn’t before — and I’m so grateful I said yes.

There’s a certain vulnerability in putting yourself out there creatively, but growth lives in those spaces. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to partner with Denovo Realty and to work alongside Brooke Maratta, who brought such a clear and inspiring vision to the table.

Thank you for trusting me to help bring that vision to life. It was truly an honor. I look forward to continued opportunities to create together. 🩵

The studio is looking a little empty these days as we finish up the final firing before moving the kiln.

What a journey this has been. I don’t think I fully understood everything I was stepping into when I decided to make this move — but I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes that I haven’t shared just yet… and I can’t wait to show you.
