Job Title: Sales Associate/Customer Service Associate
Location: The Swamp Lily Market, 5760 Old Hwy 43, Satsuma, AL
Position Type: Part Time
About Us
We are a unique market set up as a community cooperative! Many different vendors under one roof. We pride ourselves in the customer experience! Whether that is saying hello when they come into the store or being knowledgeable on products within the store.
There is a very high standard of what is expected of employees in the store. This is not a position to just sit behind the counter with no engagement.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection and recommendations.
- Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately.
- Unpack, tag, and organize incoming inventory in the store.
- Maintain store cleanliness, restock displays, and support visual merchandising.
- Since you are the first there are process's that will be developed as we go.
** Someone who will want to grow with me is a bonus! **
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience (preferred, but will train the right person).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude. (I can't teach you how to do this...)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [e.g., 30 lbs].
- Flexibility to work [e.g., weekends, evenings, holidays].
