We are hosting a City Garden Party to kick off Conservation Week 2026!

Join us on Monday, August 10th at 6:30pm to visit the new Alford Park in the Soo. Attendees will learn all about the native plants and trees that were planted to help absorb rainwater and reduce stormwater runoff within the park.

Refreshments will be provided! No need to RSVP.

These hardy hibiscus are so awesome! The blooms are huge, tropical looking but hardy in zones 4-9. I have a few of this beautiful red, called ‘Midnight Marvel’ and a pink and white who hasn’t shown her blooms yet called ‘Perfect Storm’. They even have a dedicated week in the plant world happening now! Let me know if you want one of these beauties.

These hardy hibiscus are so awesome! The blooms are huge, tropical looking but hardy in zones 4-9. Thank you for an awesome season! We are only here because of your patronage, and we hope we are providing you with the best service and plants! We will be watering and available weekdays from 11:00-1:00 if you would like to stop by for any of your plant and decor needs! We are also available by appointment. We are going to focus on some family time before reopening for the fall season. Like always, we will have mums, pumpkins, fall decor, Halloween decorations, and of course lots of plants! We are going to continue to expand and improve the grounds so your experience will be one of a kind! Can’t wait to see you for the fall season and don’t forget we have our large trees available and our custom installation process throughout the season. Let us know how we can help, and as always, come grow with us!

So proud of these hard working young people!! This is the 2nd year I’ve asked these guys to volunteer some of their time to help tackle this flower bed. They all showed up with smiles and got the work done! They did great and I’m proud of the good, respectful citizens they are!! Being we are a garden center- of course we ended our afternoon with ☕️Biggby, 🍕pizza and a 🪴 planting party! Thank you Lisa Poirier for holding down the fort while we played in the garden.
