This March, Christie’s will launch the first auction from The Jim Irsay Collection, featuring over 400 legendary items once owned and used by The Beatles, David Gilmour, Kurt Cobain, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and more 👀

🎸 Beatles highlights alone are jaw-dropping: • Paul McCartney’s handwritten lyrics to “Hey Jude”
• Ringo Starr’s drumhead from The Beatles’ first-ever Ed Sullivan Show appearance
• John Lennon’s 1963 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120, used during the “Paperback Writer” and “Rain” sessions
• George Harrison’s stage-played Gibson SG, used between 1966–1969
And that’s just the start…

• Kurt Cobain’s 1966 Fender Mustang, used on Nevermind and In Utero — and seen in the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video
• David Gilmour’s legendary Black Strat, played on The Dark Side of the Moon
