My sister found this piece in the attic of their house they just bought. They asked me to refinish it for them. This piece is probably from the early 1900's or later. What you see is the before and after and the original fabric of the seat. It had 5 layers on the seat and lots of fabric tack on the underneath side holding it down. All it needed was a little TLC.

This is going to be a different kind of post, so stay with me. About a year ago a lady named Cindi Tubbs reached out to me and asked, what I do with the cut out circles from a co****le deck. Which is nothing. She asked if she could have them, so I started saving them for her. She wanted to pay for circles, and I said why they are no use to me. Long story short, she uses the circles as the base of her oyster candles. This is one that she just gifted me and my wife loves it.
