PNG vs JPEG can be the difference between a print that looks professional… and one that looks blurry or boxed in.

Use PNG for most custom t-shirt and DTF printing because it supports transparent backgrounds and keeps edges cleaner

- perfect for logos, text, and graphics you don’t want stuck inside a white square.

- JPEG files don’t support transparency and they compress the image, which can cause pixelation, fuzzy details, and muddy colors when printed.

Quick rule for better prints:
PNG (transparent) = best for logos + graphics
JPEG = only if it’s high-res and you don’t need transparency
Always aim for 300 DPI at the final print size
