We create eco-friendly nature-inspired screenprinted shirts and functional sustainable apparel. We screenprint our apparel in-house!

Our studio + shop also features products by local artists and designers. In my opinion, life is best spent outdoors enjoying, being inspired by, and participating in the world. I believe we're designed to be outside, and I am always seeking a better Earth-life balance. I create nature-inspired designs for printed apparel as a reminder to step outside and appreciate the world around us. I'm also br

anching into the world of functional, sustainable design with new apparel products like the Bicycle Wrap Skirt that embody beauty, efficiency, adventure, and conscious living. Forest and Fin is about a lifestyle, the environment, and our everyday adventures in the world - it's about spending more time outside. The name has a circular meaning: forest represents plant and fin represents animal; forest refers to land and fin signifies the sea. This is where I draw my inspiration from. I make screenprinted t-shirts from my own sketches, as well as biking-friendly skirts for adventurous women who spend time outside. My whole ethos is centered around finding a better earth-life balance and it's crucial that I create sustainable, functional, and responsible designs using eco-friendly materials and ethical production.

Our Flying Finch & Chickadees tee is a classic and longtime favorite. I especially love wearing this tshirt in the fall under an open jean jacket — the red finch just shows as though he is flying out from under the jacket. Below the red finch (not shown in this picture) are two sparing chickadees printed in bright orange ink. The perfect fall colors! Printed with Eco-friendly inks onto soft cotton tees. 🍁

This Redwing Blackbird print is one of my oldest prints (it was a special request for my Dad)! He even has an old tshirt with the earliest version, which had three colors (black & red over a yellow circle). I have always loved this print on a light olive green tee, but it looks good on so many other colors, too! 😉

This beautiful weather has me wanting to spend every minute outside — who’s with me?? And I am loving being closer to the water and so much more nature at our new house. It has me feeling very inspired to get my work space sorted out and start on some new drawings and paintings.

Not going to lie, doing a home renovation this year was tough with everything else that has been happening in the world and my life; moving with a toddler into an unfinished house has been tough these past few weeks; the Covid closures, quarantine, and business uncertainty this spring were really really tough and stressful; and well just running a business in general is always tough — we’ve been burning the candle at both ends all year long. BUT, I am so thankful for our health, Andros’s Montessori School, and so many other things that happened this year including the new house, which is so much more peaceful and inspiring and just a better place to be with a small child.

What a year. I’ve been desperately needing a relaxing nature refresh and to slow life wayyyyy down — and I am very happy to say, that time is starting now! ✏️🎨😁🌏☀️

F R E S H off the press! Hammerhead tanks for all you shark fans out there. Sharks occupy a special and important place in ocean ecosystems, and I’m personally drawn to hammerheads and nurse sharks, after snorkeling with them in the Bahamas. Ask me about the time I jumped in the water about 20 ft above a six foot hammerhead that was swimming through a cut at sunset....
