Planet Fun 🌎 has a LOT going on this month! We thought we’d make a calendar so you all can keep up with what we have going on! 🗓️ This Saturday, the 12th, we have our monthly fighting game tournament presented by Square One 🫯 The following Saturday 9/19 we have our PLANET FUN ARTIST ALLEY! 🎨 It’s also BATMAN DAY 🦇downstairs, so make sure to pick up your exclusive comics and collected editions that day! 💜💛 Sunday the 20th, we have our Level Ground Comics Writing Workshop with writer James Venhaus 📝 Friday 9/24 is our MtG Pre-Release for REALITY FRACTURE 💥 and then that weekend, 9/26 and 9/27, is SPiCE 🎪 the Savannah Pooler indie Creators Expo! A two day Comic-Con / Artist Alley taking place at the Ballroom on Bull, with different artists each day!!!! ‼️

🗓️ Saturday, September 19th is our next PLANET FUN ARTIST ALLEY! 🎨 A dozen local artists will be set up UPSTAIRS at Planet Fun Satellite from noon-5PM with their art! 💜 including Tracy Yardley from Sonic the Hedgehog 🔵 and Edwin Galmon (DC Comics, Dynamite Comics) 💛 9/19 is also BATMAN DAY! 🦇 We’ll have some exclusive comic books, retailer exclusive hardcover editions of some major Bat releases, AND Batman of Two Worlds, featuring both Absolute Batman and the Batman from Fraction’s run. 🦇🦇🦇🦇

It’s Absolute Batman’s world, we’re just living in it 💪 REPRINTS of Absolute Batman 1-20 are out this week! The powerhouse book by writer Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta has almost its entire run up to this point BACK ON SHELVES! 🤯 (Avry also thinks you should check out the reprints of DOCTOR STRANGE / DOCTOR DOOM : Triumph and Torment!) 🔥 But just because we’re playing the hits, doesn’t mean there isn’t also a bunch of NEW books to check out! 🌐 The Marvel Legends FUTURE FOUNDATION figures are now in stock!!! 🔭 These amazing costumes were designed by Marko Djurdjević Marko Djurdjevic for Marvel’s FF back in 2010, and we’ve always wanted toys of them. They do not disappoint. 🔥 And if you’re wondering where Johnny is… we recommend picking up volume 1 of Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman : The Complete Collection 🧪 at our comic book store, Planet Fun Satellite, right across the street! 🌎 This is one of our favorite comic book runs of all time, and it’s collected in 4 deluxe trade paperbacks. Find out where these costumes come from, and read one of Marvel’s best comics!

Transformers are such a big part of Planet Fun 🌎 and there’s no Transformer more important than THE Autobot, Optimus Prime 🚚 We had already restocked the case and were planning on making a post today, but after hearing the news this morning, we felt we needed to pay tribute to the passing of Peter Cullen, who imbued the role of Optimus with so much heart and gravitas for four decades.❤️ “Be Strong Enough To Be Gentle.” ❤️
