This past week marked our 5th annual Pig Roast Celebration where our team hosts all onsite trades to indulge in a well-deserved lunch as a thank you for their ongoing efforts on the project.

The Wet Pond functions as the lowest point of the stormwater system serving roughly 2/3 of the project’s impervious acreage, around 188 acres. Once part of a 3-part lagoon system for the industrial operations onsite has been repurposed through geotechnical stabilization, civil engineering & construction to support a 5-acre storm water management basin. A functional system as well as a massive bird bath.

This stormwater management system, similar to sanitary, is a designed gravity system to catch all rainwater from any impervious surfaces, like roadways & curbs, to flow downstream to the Wet Pond. The steel reinforced ribbed pipes installed range from 2 feet in diameter to 8 feet, big enough to walk in.
