OUR TRADING GUIDE---WHAT WE PAY
BOOKS: We pay, on average, $1 in store credit for most standard size paperbacks (generally less than 15 years old); $1.50-$3.50 for over-sized paperbacks; and 25 cents to $1 for most kid and teen titles. We take few hardcovers; exceptions are history, biographies, and novels released in the last year. We may pay lower rates if we already have several copies of your book, of if your book is older than 15 years. However, we may pay more than our average for exceptional or new titles. We generally do not take coffee table books, Reader's Digest condensed books or cheap Harlequin or Silhouette romances. All books should be in like new condition, with no tears, scribbles or creases. TEXTBOOKS: (College or private school only). Must have been published in the last 3 years (with a few older exceptions.) (CHECK YOUR COPYRIGHT DATES) and in very good condition. Payment ranges from $10 to $120 or more, CASH. Bring your titles in or email or phone in the ISBN numbers on the backs of your books and we'll tell you how much we'll pay. [email protected]
AUDIOBOOKS: $2-$5 CASH for most. Exceptional sets may be higher. On CD only, please. We no longer take cassettes. CDS: 50 cents to $1 CASH for most, but only classic rock and pop, and new releases, which are usually higher. We no longer buy other categories. DVDS: 50 cents to $2 CASH for most but new releases usually higher. Sets from $3 to $25. BLU RAYS: $1-$4 for most. New releases may be higher. RECORDS: Looking mainly for classic pop and rock, with such artists as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Beatles, etc., but will also buy new releases. Most $1-$5 CASH, but some $10 or more if rare. VINTAGE MAGAZINES: LIFE and TIME Magazines from the 1920s-1970s, with famous celebrities or historical figures or stories of historical significance on the cover. $2-$10 CASH. Must be in great condition, not musty, torn or stained. We sometimes buy other vintage magazines as well. Let us know what you have. RARE/COLLECTIBLE BOOKS We pay cash for contemporary (LAST 60 YEARS) collectible books, particularly first edition/first printing titles. Let us know via email what you have.
