Coast to Cottage Original One of A Kind Sea Glass Art and Other Coastal Crafts I have collected sea glass for many, many years. Its fascinating to me.

Most of my collection comes from the coast and islands of Maine. I've always said that even on days when nothing is found, you can't beat a walk on the beach, listening to the waves roll in and gently lap the sand or rocks. There are no bad days spent looking for sea glass and other treasures. I like researching the history of certain pieces to learn how old they might be and I speculate on who on

ce owned the intact item it came from. As an artist, the next logical step, was to make art with these colorful surf-tumbled pieces. I've done this for years now, as well. Each artwork is one-of-a-kind and an original design of mine. I make whatever comes to mind, often based on the shape of one particular piece. Hope you find one (or more) that makes a perfect gift for someone or to treat yourself. I hope it conjures up memories of happy days spent at the beach or walking along the ocean's shore.
