Thank you for all your support. It's been a bittersweet process and we're going to miss this. Many have asked when will be our last day. We will remain open as we sell through all of product and fixtures; with our goal to close no later than August 31st. We'll keep you posted. Please stop in so we can thank you for supporting us over all these years.

We have always considered ourselves one of the lucky ones. Even through the construction and revitalization of Downtown Schenectady and the Jay Street Marketplace, the continual changing tenant mix, economic challenges, forced closings during covid, tariffs, and etc; it was through your continued support and friendship we were able to grow our business year after year. But ….now [as we approach milestone birthdays] it’s time for us to retire. After 20 years of success we will be closing Lennon’s Irish Shop at the end of August.

Over these many years you not only supported us, you shared your friendship, told your friends about us, made us a place you wanted to come back to again and again, and made us feel a valuable part of the success of downtown Schenectady; but most importantly to us, you helped us raise, train and love all our pups. We are forever grateful.

Over these next couple of months it is our plan to sell off everything, all product and fixtures (everything must go) and leave the location broom clean for the next Jay Street Marketplace success story.

We are grateful to you for making Lennon’s Irish Shop such a success and affording us the opportunity to enjoy the next chapter in our lives. Thank you.
