Reminder! Just a couple more days before we close! Then we start new winter hours.

📣 A LITTLE NORTH SHORE NEWS! 🌲

After a busy summer season, our crew at Temperance Traders is taking a much-needed break! Between some well-earned vacations and a honeymoon for our newlyweds, it’s time for everyone to recharge before winter settles in.

📅 WE’LL BE CLOSED NOVEMBER 1ST–15TH and will reopen Monday, November 16th at 9 AM!

🍻 🚨 YOUR FRIENDLY NORTH SHORE HEADS-UP: STOCK UP BEFORE WE CLOSE! 🚨🍻

When we reopen, we’ll be switching to our winter hours:

🕘 Monday–Saturday: 9 AM–7 PM
🕚 Sunday: 11 AM–4 PM

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who kept us busy this summer and continues to support our little Schroeder business. We’re lucky to be part of such a great North Shore community! ❤️

Mark your calendars, stock those shelves at home, and come see us before November 1st! We’ll be back before you know it. 🌲🍂

🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SISA! 🎂🎉

Today we’re celebrating the woman who somehow manages to keep us all moving, keep things interesting, and probably has about 47 things going at once! 😂

She keeps Temperance Traders running, keeps the Facebook world entertained, and somehow always finds herself in the middle of whatever chaos is happening around here. Coincidence? We think not. 🤣

She’s got opinions. She’s got ideas. She’s got a to-do list approximately 14 miles long… and somehow she keeps adding to it. 🤦‍♀️😂

Help us wish Sisa a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳

And Sisa… remember: age is just a number. A really nosy number that keeps getting bigger every year. 😂

🐾 IT’S NATIONAL MAKE A DOG’S DAY! 🐾

Because apparently, feeding them, walking them, giving them a warm place to sleep, AND letting them take up 87% of the bed still isn't enough. 😂

And heaven forbid you go somewhere without them. The betrayal! The drama! The look they give you when you grab your keys. 🤣

Today, give your four-legged best friend some extra love, an extra treat, or better yet… bring them along for a ride! We've got what they need...or want. Either way, we've got you covered.

At Temperance Traders, we’re officially dog-friendly, so bring those good boys and girls along for a little shopping adventure! We promise not to judge if they have more fans in the store than you do. 🐕😉

👑 HAPPY NATIONAL BOSS’S DAY! 👑

Today we’re celebrating the people who technically run this place… although they mostly just walk around asking, “Will you please do this?” and then end up doing it themselves. 😂

They fix things that probably shouldn’t be fixable.
Move boxes we swear were already moved.
Notice things the rest of us somehow missed.
Come up with “great ideas” that eventually become our new projects. 😉
Haul, lift, carry, build, repair, rearrange, troubleshoot… and then do it all again tomorrow.

And when we’re short-staffed, they’re always willing to step in and cover. Schedule changes, call-ins, last-minute chaos… they jump in wherever they’re needed and help keep things moving.

Their flexibility and willingness to help out is appreciated more than they probably realize. ❤️

But behind all the bossing, fixing, planning, “while you’re here, can you…” and last-minute schedule juggling is a whole lot of hard work and dedication that keeps Temperance Traders going.

So from your crew: Happy Boss’s Day! ❤️

We appreciate everything you do… even if we’ll never admit it to your faces. 😉

Help us wish Chandler a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳

Chandler is always working on some sort of project. Whether he’s whittling wood, picking rocks, or randomly dropping a weird movie quote that about 2 people understand… you can pretty much guarantee he’s up to something. 😂

He keeps us entertained, keeps us guessing, and apparently has an endless supply of hobbies!

We hope your day is filled with good times, good laughs, and maybe a project or two. 😉

🇺🇸 Happy National Heroes Day 🇺🇸

We don’t have to look very far to find heroes around here.

Today we’re giving a BIG shout-out to the people who serve our community every day — including our very own law enforcement and first responders. 🚔🚒

As the assistant manager at Temperance Traders, Sisa has a hero of her own at home — her husband, who serves our community as a jail administrator and sheriff’s deputy. We’re incredibly proud of the work he does and the dedication it takes to serve others every day.

And then there’s the incredible crew at Superior Properties, who also volunteer their time with our local fire department. We are so lucky to have these hardworking men and women serving our community, both on the job and as volunteers.

They work long hours, miss holidays, get called out at inconvenient times, and still show up when their community needs them.

Thank you for protecting, serving, and putting others first. ❤️

🎉 HAPPY WORK ANNIVERSARY, JERRY! 🎉

October 6 marks 4 YEARS of having Jerry as part of the Temperance Traders family! 🍻

As our manager and resident mixologist, Jerry does a little bit of everything—keeping the store running, the drinks flowing, and the rest of us laughing along the way. 😂

And when he’s not at Temperance Traders, he’s a Massage Therapist… because apparently one career wasn’t enough. 💆‍♂️🤣

And apparently, he’s also our resident Wasp Attacker. 🐝💥 We’re not exactly sure when that became part of the job description, but when the wasps show up, Jerry suits up. 😂

Jerry, we truly appreciate all the hard work, laughs, knowledge, and personality you bring to the team. We’re lucky to have you and grateful for everything you do!

Cheers to 4 years, Jerry! 🍻 Here’s to many more years, fewer wasps, and plenty of good drinks! 😂
