Coal Legion Gaming is a local Schuylkill County, PA gaming group that enjoys basement gaming and casual play. Currently we are not associated with any store or tournament circuit and as such enjoy the ability to change venue without affecting a commercial business. We play a long list of games and if you would like more information, please check out the websites provided. While this list is rather

long sometimes these games are played for a specific time period of the year so that members can concentrate on personal life or a specific game system that experiences a rule change. If you’re interested in learning to play any specific game, we are capable of running demo games or will gladly reach out to one of our fellow gaming clubs who have people that play that game. We can provide models to try out a game before you buy it as well as a copy of most rules, army books, and other information for you to look at. Battlefront/Flames of War

A few of us got together this past weekend for some Legion. Kevin and I threw down as many bugs against as many B1’s and B2’s as we could at 1K. Fun game that came down to the wire. The highlight (for Kevin that is) was his STAAP riders swooping in and murdering Kalani with a horrible saving throw from myself.

Looking for opinions from the masses. Trying to think of some ways to help spread the word about game days (open or sponsored games) at the clubhouse. We try to post events primarily on our discord (link below), but what else would be some options that people would like to see? Creating events on here can be time consuming but we still try to at least put a post on here. Have been thinking of a monthly email but is that just more noise? Would really like to start seeing more faces at our game days.

So I've had a few people ask if we were going to be doing or annual Bolt Action Tanksgiving this year. I've spoken with the Banish Zone in Wernersville and they are open to hosting. We are looking at either the 14th or the 21st of November if held. Please comment below if you're interested, and if so what day (or both) would work for you. If you are also on our Discord, I'd ask that you respond there on the poll so it's easier for me to compile. Thank you!

Joe and I took a trip today to Cold Barrage in Havre De Grace, MD. Played a game of Shako and of CoC. Had a good great time and hung out with a bunch of familiar faces. Thanks to the HAWKS crew for running a great con. Will def make more of an attempt to make these in the future.

From our tabletop to yours, all of us at CLG wish you the happiest of Holidays. Although most of us will be spending these days with families, let us not forget our comrades in dice and all the fun and memories throughout the year.

Thank you to those who support us as a club and all of our crazy ideas and ventures. Without you all, it wouldn’t be possible. Keep your eyes peeled and ears to the ground as we have some things moving and planned for the new year!
