Almost every ornament has a story. Same ones I put up every year, having collected them over the course of the last 35 years. A few new ones are added here and there. Never a theme, just the same thing year after year. It makes me happy and that’s what matters.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Ours looked different this year. This year another sister passed on and my Mother too. It’s just not the same anymore, but I can count on the tree bringing up beautiful memories and always being the constant. I’ll leave it up for a while.
To all those who lost loved ones, I’m right there with you.

But the shining star has been the birth of our first grandchild. He is the light of our life. I can’t explain the joy he has brought us. My Mom would have absolutely adored him.

Definitely need a long brush to stain this one.

But…
Since we got three inches of snow ❄️
And it’s 29 degrees 🥶
I’ll wait a few days to stain.

I finally made one for me. It only took 25 plus years.
I keep all of my round reed contained and under control.
Now I need around 10 more.

Not my usual basket style. I started with dyed spokes (Amish Blue and Ochre) and used natural reed on the sides. I am loving the look, especially the Ochre color one.

A few of the Candy Corn Baskets Shipping today.
I know, I know but makers have to be one season ahead. If you’ve been following me a while, you know that’s usually NOT the case with me. 😩😩😩

Two cute, adorable, mini scrap baskets.

One is a little Mini Williamsburg Basket. I used scraps for the stakes and the weavers. The handle is purchased.

The other one is a, well I’m not sure, just cute. I used scraps for the whole basket. The strap is a remnant I had from the Spindle Baskets I make.

These little minis are a great way to use those random length pieces lying around the shop. I could spend a week using up the scrap pieces I have. Probably longer.

Just a little storage basket heading to its new home. And we do love these leather handles.

I source my leather from A local shoe company right around the “country” corner from me.
