BirchBarn owes its start to its neighbors and the South Shore. From the farmers markets to the neighbors showing up at our garage over a decade ago to buy our hardwood cutting boards, we have so much gratitude to our community.

We LOVE our community. So when we were asked to host another blood drive for Boston Children’s Blood Donor during Pediatric Cancer Awareness month, the answer was immediately yes.

Please consider signing up to donate blood on September 18 to help the young warriors fighting cancer Boston Children’s Blood Donor

This is also an opportunity to honor the young children who lost their battles to cancer who lived right here in our community.

The client for this project sought out a white oak alternative, having used oak throughout a major renovation of her home. We think the creamy, maple surface top was the perfect choice for this sunny, seaside home office. The combination of that textured teal wall + subtle maple grains is the kind of coastal design that conveys the sea in a whisper, not a shout.
