Just a reminder that Metro East Record Show is tomorrow. Tables are sold out with many new vendors. Food and drinks available. Roots FM - Free Form Radio broadcasting live and it is free entry. Too much fun to miss! We will be there of course and Mrs Vinyl Zone will be running the store.

RIP to the legend Dolly Parton.The world needs more Dolly's in it!!

Dolly Parton, who rose from a loving if impoverished upbringing in the mountains of East Tennessee to become the “Queen of Country” music, a Hollywood star, and a beloved American icon, has died, her family announced.

Parton was 80.

Her death came after Parton suddenly announced in May 2026 that she was canceling a Las Vegas show and said she'd been undergoing treatment for kidney stones for several years.

We have some truly beautiful pictures on the wall. These come from Jeff Appel who recently did a show in St Louis displaying and selling photos from the Seattle Grunge scene. He has brought many to the store and more than just Seattle scene artist. Come check out these beautiful and limited works of art and maybe pick up a piece.
