This is why anime fans keep buying my comic “Monkey with a Katana”…
It’s not just the fights or the art.
It’s the connection it has to anime.
Anime is one of the only mainstream forms of entertainment that lets us experience the most intense emotional parts of life.
Vulnerability.
Grief.
Friendship.
Power.
Failure.
Without having to be vulnerable in real life.
That became the foundation of Monkey With a Katana.
Its power system, Primal Energy, turns emotions like Rage, Love, Fear, Hunger, and Grief into real power.
I didn’t want to make a comic that only looked like anime.
I wanted it to give you that same feeling…the kind that makes you care about the characters, get lost in the world, and immediately want the next chapter.
Issue #2 is out now.
And when you order it, I’ll include Issue #1 free so you can start from the beginning.
