Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for Cosmic Catā€™s Summer Psychic Fair at Taylor Brooke Winery ~ what an absolutely sparked-up, sunā€‘soaked kind of day. šŸ·

The heat and humidity was high, but so were the good-vibesā€¦ and the messages from spirit added just the right touch of wonder without floating us off into the clouds! ā˜ļøāœØšŸŒž

Every vendor brought something special, every guest added their own bit of magic, and together it felt like Woodstock had its own little pocket of summertime enchantment. šŸŒŸ

Happy Friday, peasants of the Copperpot Kingdom!

Chester has declared today and tomorrow a most auspicious day for visitation ~ he would love to see his loyal fans.

Please know that Mystic Pines Candle Co., is open until 5 pm today, and again Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.

On Sunday, howeverā€¦ the Bulldog throne restsā€¦ but fear not!

My parents will be at Taylor Brook Winery in Woodstock, CT, basking in the Cosmic Catā€™s Summer Psychic Fair from noon until 5 pm.

So go forth, receive your fortunes, sip your wine, and know that Chesterā€™s cheeky blessings follow you there on Sunday!

Hey pals, itā€™s meā€¦Chester Copperpot. The one holding this whole candle empire together while Christina pretends sheā€™s in charge.

Listen, Iā€™m tired of just supervising wicks, wax and snacks. So I have a question for youā€¦

What types of classes/workshops do you all actually want to see offered here at Mystic Pines Candle Co?

Besom Crafting? Candle Magick? Ceromancy? (Candle wax reading) Crystal Grids and Divination Boards Workshops? Incense Crafting? Palm-Reading Instruction? Paint Nights? Pottery? Reiki Certification? Tea Leaf Reading? Witch Bells? Spell Jars? Witchy Spell Jars with Bells?? Storytelling? Bulldog yoga and nap meditation (see what I did there šŸ˜‰)?

Donā€™t be shyā€¦ Iā€™ve heard worse ideas.

And if you know someone whoā€™s got skills worth sharing ~ artists, authors, crafters, storytellers, or just someone who can keep me awake longer than five minutes, toss their name like a chew-toy (but in a positive and productive way!) in the comments or send us a private message.

I may roll my eyes, but I do appreciate you snack and belly rub providers. Without you, Iā€™d just be a wrinkly little guy snoring in a candle shoppe.

Youā€™ve heard the term ā€œa bull in a china shopā€ā€¦ but how about a ā€œBulldog in a Candle Shoppe?ā€ Because thatā€™s exactly what youā€™ll experience the moment you step through the doors of Mystic Pines Candle Co.

Chester Copperpot doesnā€™t simply wander around and patrol the shoppe, he charges through it like a snorting comet of candlelight and crazy. Our shelves whisper prayers that nothing breaks. And Chester? Unfazed. Proudly barreling through his kingdom like the bulldog embodiment of magick itself.

Oh, and we failed to mentionā€¦ Chester was Julyā€™s Employee of the Month.

A title he accepted with the same level of enthusiasm he gives everything: none. Not a single stub wag. Just a slow blink and a snort, as if to say, ā€œWell, duh?!ā€

If you are not familiar with us, hereā€™s where the real enchantment begins ~ weā€™re not your average candle company. Every candle at Mystic Pines is dressed in original hand-drawn artwork by an actual artist. Each label is handā€‘cut and handā€‘glued, one at a time, infused with intention, patience, and a little bit of oldā€‘world charm.

And because our magick is rooted in compassion, a portion of the proceeds of every candle sold goes directly to animal rescue! The very mission that brought Chester, and his five ā€˜siblingsā€™ before him, into our lives.

Our shoppe is open, but apparently so is Chesterā€™s complaint department.

Welcome to Mystic Pines, where I attempt the ancient art of candleā€‘makingā€¦ while our bulldog performs a fullā€‘scale ritual of distraction.

Hungry? Yes.

Sleepy? Check.

Belly rub crisis? Ongoing.

Car ride petition? Noted.

Meanwhile, Iā€™m just trying to pour wax and fill orders without being barked into submission. My days seem to be filled with 50% candleā€‘making and 50% bulldog negotiationsā€¦ but honestly, we wouldnā€™t have it any other way!
