To those of you who are looking to buy something from Silver Spring Emporium before it closes its doors the website will be up until tomorrow for you to purchase something. After tomorrow the website will be down and you will only be able to purchase things from the store.

To all our loyal customers and friends, Silver Spring Emporium is closing for an unknown period. It will be having a sale on everything in the store starting this Wed. Oct 3rd thur Oct 20th. The family is not sure it will be reopening the store so if there is something you want better get it now. If you can't make it to the store call Minette at the store and she will help you find what you are looking for. As for me, I would like to say thank you to all of you who became my friend, who made me laugh, who made me cry, and who made me feel like we were family. It has been a blast. Love to all of you

Just to let everyone know, the store will be having a clearance sale the month of Oct. Then we will be closed starting Nov. 1st until the family decides what they want to do with the store. So if you have something you have been waiting to buy, do it in Oct. before it's gone.

Just to let those of you who are interested in getting your one of a kind rhinestone moon necklace they are being sold on dragontearsjewelry.com while the store is closed for the summer. As you may know the store will be closed for the months of August and September.

Here are our winners for the month of June. Moon necklace winners are Michael Murphy and Becky Crawford. Our note card winners are Nancy Bartlett and Chuck Wood. There will be a very special drawing for July. It will be for friends of the facebook only. So make sure you friend us here. I haven't decided if I am going to tell you what it is or just surprise everyone.

Sorry I have not been here much. We will be having our drawings for June soon. Be sure you look for the moon necklace on the silverspringemporium.com website. If you find it email me the location for another entry in the drawings for this month. Remember we will be drawing one girl and one guy for the moon necklace and the note card (that makes a total of 4 winners) Email me at [email protected]. to tell me where you found the picture. Also make sure you friend us here so you can be entered in our very special drawing in August, just for those who are our friends. It will be the only drawing we have while the store is closed for August and Sept.

Just got back from Phoenix, Minette has her new puppy Declan and just loves him. I got to spend lots of time in the store helping with the jewelry. And for those of you who know me, I had a great time. Now back to work.
