The Marketplace at Steamtown

The Marketplace at Steamtown Rethinking downtown, where retail and lifestyle meet. A dynamic multi-use facility in Downtown Scranton.

Our center hosts a variety of services from medical to educational, along side a mix of traditional and uniques retail. The Scranton Public Market, located on the second floor in the former food court, is host to local makers and restaurants Friday through Sunday.

📚❤️ A huge thank you to The Friends of the Scranton Public Library and everyone who came out for the September Book Sale at The Marketplace at Steamtown!

We’re always happy to host these quarterly sales and support their mission of giving donated books a new home while raising funds for library projects and events throughout our community.

We loved seeing so many books make their way into the hands of readers, teachers, nonprofits, and Little Free Libraries. 📖✨

A big thankyou to all our patrons for making our September Book Sale such a Huge success. Also, a big shoutout THANK YOU to the Marketplace at Steamtown for hosting our quarterly book sales.
We are delighted to help so many teachers, people who work for nonprofits, and those who have little free libraries by offering free books on the last day.
Our goal is to give our donated books a good home and to help support the library with many of their projects and events.
