Got on a fast sunset top water bite while fishing the sod banks. Fishing during the incoming tide about 3 hours until high. A bone colored yo-zuri pencil popper got the job done and I was able land a quick striper. quick, but hot bite.
The striper bite has been on fire and hasnā€™t showed a sign of slowing down besides some of the bigger fish leaving.
Gear used:
rod: 7ā€™ MF st. croix custom
reel: penn spinfisher VII 3500
line: 15lb power pro super slick
leader: 20lb flouro
